I have poor signal strength in my garage apartment.I have a rca tablet with WiFi service next door.

My uncle has a full sized computer in the garage below me. He uses a WiFi network adapter on his computer but I don't know if that would work for me.

Would you be able to elaborate more? So you're trying to use your next door neighbors wifi? It may or may not work depending on the settings of the wifi and also the interference.
