Why does my Samsung galaxy mini S4 wont turn on not show charging?

my samsung galaxy was getting hot so i pull out the battery leave it out for a few minutes , but wont turn on , plug in the charger not even showing that its charging screen just black ,i made the battery fit in a mini s3 and the battery is charging and working well now i wondering if something is wrong with the phone board

Welcome to the forums. There might be something wrong with the battery. Have you tried a replacement yet?

i try the battery in a next phone the battery is working good , the phone got extremely hot so it just pull the battery out and stop come on not even charging like practical dead

I am not sure what to suggest. Have you had a professional shop look at it to tell you what may be wrong?
