Reappearing contacts yet no email accounts are synced!

[AC Question]

I have a Sony Xperia Z3 compact. I added the contacts I wanted when I first got the phone yet contacts from what I recognise is an email of mine appeared in my phone contacts. I've gone through all the settings made sure no emails are syncing them but they re- appeared months later and I have to manually tick them all and delete. Any ideas?
