Chrome Pop Ups

Recently I have been getting pop ups when using chrome mobile app but they have been deleting all of my tabs and opening a fresh version of chrome. The weird thing is sometimes the tabs will just reappear so I'm not sure what the issue is. If someone could enlighten me it would be very much appreciated.

Do you have the tabs synced to another device, such as a computer? If you do, and close tabs on that other device, then you will see the same effect on mobile when you next open the Chrome app.

No it's not synced to any other device.
