I lost my last Android 4.2.2 mobile. Fortunately backed up my mobile data (gbk file). Now bought a new mobile set Android 5.0. But to my astonishment this new OS can't recognize the backup file (gbk file) and I can't restore my mobile data. How can I get back my data? Please help!!

I just resolved that now, on your new phone save one or two names in your contact and then go to settings system backup then backup your data another. gbk file will be created. Open file manager open backup open system backup you will see the new. gbk file there paste the old gbk file in thesame folder then go back to settings system backup and select restore you will find your old .gbk file there click on it and start the restore process hope this was helpful.

    Enjoy
