MMS msgs from just one contact get received out of order?

[AC Question]

Whenever I receive a mms msg from just this one contact the msg gets pushed back to a past date. I click on it from notifications but it 'disappears' so i scroll up in the conversation and it appears in a past date's convo. It only happens with mms msgs and she says it doesn't happen with everyone she texts. Just a couple of us...

If it's only happening with one sender, it's not being caused by your phone.

It could be another iMessage to text bug, or it could be something wrong with the sender's text app.

Thank you but it's between 2 Androids. It only happened after 1 person changed carriers. Now my MMS goes to a different thread, their MMS are out of order & their replies to my MMS are out of order.
