Why is the schedule on my Moto 360 Watch an hour early?

My watch says the right time on the regular clock function, and the device it is synced with has the correct time both normally and on the google calendar. But my watch schedule is an hour early. For example, my 9AM meeting is scheduled for 8AM on the watch. I tried resetting both devices, with no success.
