Iphoto on my macbook no longer downloading photos from Galaxy sIII

[AC Question]

Up until a couple of weeks ago, iPhoto uploaded all photos of my Galaxy S3 camera via USB connected as a camera PTP.
Last week it only upload 2 of 20 new photos, a few days ago, only 4 of 5 photos, and today 0 of 5 new photos. I haven't changed any settings or updated software. I have 2107 photos on iPhoto and about 30 more in my camera that haven't uploaded. I dont 'delete photos' each time I have downloaded in the past. Please do give me some suggestions. I would be grateful.

I cant find any advice on forums for this.

You may want to check on our sister site -- iMore | The #1 site for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and all things Apple!. I am not sure if this is an issue with your S3 or iPhoto.

Thankyou for this suggestion. I wonder further if setting up 'Google photos' on my Galaxy S3 would be the reason why iPhoto no longer recognises my photos... the two events happened about the same time, and I guess Google and 'i' things are not the best of friends?
