I use the Droid Turbo and square reader. I have a ringer volume issue. What could this be?

use the Droid Turbo with Android i have been using the square reader and it works great but my issue is when i pull out the reader my ringer volume level is automatically set to low and i cannot turn it up unless i turn the phone off and restart it then everything is great. Ive used another droid turbo before and didn't have this issue. Also i thought the problem might be the case restricting full insert but that doesn't make any difference. Is this a phone issue?

I have the same issue. I just got the Droid Turbo 2 a few weeks ago. And now when I use the square reader my ringer volume gets turned off and I can't turn it back on until I kill the square reader app. So I would also be interested if anyone has a solution to this.
