Changed LCD/Digitizer and back button doesn't work

After dropping my phone a few weeks ago, causing the LCD screen to bleed until it eventually became a very dark green blur, I have finally gotten around to changing the full unit this afternoon. Everything was fine when changing the unit, however I've now noticed that the back button isn't working properly. Every time I press the back button, it takes at least 10 seconds to actually take me back a page. Is this possibly a faulty screen or something I have done when installing the new unit?

I have tried turning off and on again, and I have also got the most recent system update.

Welcome to Android Central!

I would suggest going through and making sure you have all your connections properly connected. If that's not the problem, then consider a factory reset. If the issue is still there...then there could be damage to the device during the repair (ribbons are very fragile, and a connection could have been damaged).
