I have a Galaxy Tab A. Master Sync does not stay on. I can turn it on manually though. How can I keep Master Sync on?

I need to manually sync my email every time I want to check it. How do I turn on Master Sync and keep it on?

In the email app, there is a settings option. Each email account has a listing. Are they all turned on and a time frequency selected?
