I have had my tablet a year now and it has happened before, I also do not use a micro sd card.

After a year, if you haven't been treating the battery properly, it could be going bad. That could cause heat. Or a radio transmitter could be getting hotter than normal. It has to go to the shop for analysis - anything here would be a guess.
