What are the strange symbols on my lyric files when they are supposed to be Korean?

My music files that I download from my computer contains lyrics that are in Korean. Instead, when they are input-ed into my phone, they have weird symbols. These weird characters are definitely not any Asian language because they contain symbols like 1/2, a upside down ?, a degrees symbol, the copyright symbol, etc...However, my title on the music file remains in Korean. What are these and how can I make them normal (aka in Korean)
