Why is my phone battery crashing?

Hi, I have had my NEW Samsung Galaxy S3 for just over a month and I am already having battery issues! Please help!

The battery can be at 90% and it will suddenly shut off, when I try to turn it back on it says that it shut off because battery is at 1% or even 0%..... What is going on?? This phone is one month old!

The battery may be faulty, even though nearly new. The warranty should cover its replacement if that is necessary. Contact Samsung customer support for advice.
