I can't unlock my phone because the screen isn't responding to touch. I press the numbers and nothing happens. I can't swipe to answer phone calls or turn off alarms. I have tried restarting my phone numerous times but it doesn't make a difference. I'm not sure what's made it do this as I haven't dropped it or gotten it wet or anything. Any ideas how to fix it?

Make sure your battery is good. If it is, and if you can boot into Recovery, try a Cache Partition wipe.
A Factory Reset may also be worth trying, but do not do this unless you are aware of how much personal data you will lose. Read about Factory Resetting first.
Of course, the screen digitiser may have failed, in which case neither of the above procedures will help.

Agree with belodion. If the digitizer has failed, you'll have to bring it to a repair shop, or contact Samsung if it's still under warranty.
