how is it possible to play videos from micro sd card

First, you put the video on the SD card. Then you play the video on your phone's video player.

You'll probably have to restart or run media.Re.Scan after copying it, because copying files doesn't trigger a media scan. You can play it by just tapping it on the SD card and it'll play in the default player for that kind of video file.

I'm confused. I read where you mentioned media.re.scan before, but I've never had to run it or restart my phone to have my vids play.

In fact, I just connected my phone to my PC and dragged a vid to my SD right now. Opened up the gallery and it played right off the bat. I'm on KK. Did something change in LP? Or, is the functionality on the Note 4 not seen in all phones?
