How do I answer it, not joking.

AC Question

Pretty straight forward simple question yet I have figured out many things about the phone but not this very basic requirement. Oh ya, I'm 76, first smart phone

Welcome to Android Central!

You did not specify which device you have, but you should be able to swipe RIGHT on the green phone icon to answer an incoming call.

You can also go into your phone's Application settings and select "Call", select "Answering/Ending Calls" and change your answering options to "Pressing the Home Key" if that option works better for you.

Hello.
Yeh I know. Believe me. I have been on these forums 20 months. I get an important 1 day job last month, I get a call on a Motorola updated to Android 5.1, instead of a Samsung I just sold, and I can't answer it. I ring back and apologise. Person rings again and I can't answer it.

Ismachado's method probably works on most, but on Motorola at least now I have to swipe the centre grey button over to the blue phone icon. Go figure.

Your device may have an app called Help.
