In miscellaneous file storage, what is safe to trash so I can gain memory?

I have 16G of storage and all but 6 are used up.

Some phones include the system files in the miscellaneous section and, obviously, they can't be deleted. Which phone do you have? In general I prefer using the misc files just to know what's taking my storage and then delete data inside the specific app, through settings - apps or using a file Explorer. Safer this way.
