Help! I just installed the Android Device Manager on my Samsung S5 and I can't get into my phone

Does anyone know how to recover the password for the Android Device Manager. It is asking me for my password, I put my normal password in, and it gives me an error message saying "wrong password". Meanwhile, I am unable to use my phone at all, since installing it just a few hours ago. Does anyone know anything about this?

Try resetting your gmail or account password on your computer and then try using the new password to login see if that works. Android Device Manager used the same password that you use for your Gmail account.
