How do you remove adware?

I somehow got a malware thing on my samsung tablet. It redirects my page when ever I go onto chrome, redirects the app I'm looking at in the play store and also opens up another video when on youtube. It can't be found in my apps on the home screen but in the storage it can be, its called 'file manager' and I can't delete it because I'm not 'device manager' but I can delete every other app.
