Will rooting an AT&T-issed LG G3 allow use of the FM radio function?

I've never rooted a phone before, but StumpRoot looks interesting. Am considering it for my LG G3. If it turns out to be successful, I'm looking forward to using the FM radio function. Will I be satisfied, or disappointed? With my last phone (Motorola Atrix), I wasn't even aware there was an FM radio function, because AT&T apparently locked it out. (This may well be my last at&t-putchased phone, as I'm sick and tired of their shenanigans).
