"No Media Found" Icon in Gallery App - Where are my photos?

A

AC Question

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I have had no issues with it until this week.

It seems that I am getting 'No Media Found' icons (black screen with a little gray picture and an exclamation point) rather than pictures. This seems to occur when I move the picture to a different album using the Gallery app, or sometimes when I take a picture using the Camera app.

It's not an issue with my SD card; I checked it for sufficient storage space and any corruption, but everything cleared out.

Please help me out! I'm really worried about losing important pictures on my phone.

Thank you!

Pics automatically have a sequence the the gallery or music player ECT read. . Example ... abc123.mp3.. If you changed the name of your pics.. You gotta make sure you don't mess with the .mp3 or anything after the / or the . Dot if you did that then that could be out. Also.. The file you move them to gotta have a format ending also.

The pics should have .jpg on the end. It's called a file extension.
