All of a sudden, my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will not receive any emails.

I can send an email, compose a letter, delete trash...all except receive my new emails. I have made several attempts daily to retrieve them. I've turned my tablet off and back on. No good. I've rebooted. No good. I have gone into settings several times and done various procedures that I've found online. I haven't had any success. I did not reset my tablet because I didn't want to lose all of my current emails, pictures, etc.
