When I apply a wallpaper that is all black or black towards the top, the area around my notification bar and top left of the screen have this ugly gray shadow/overlay. It is essentially a gray gradient that cuts the top of the black wallpaper. It is very visible when you use an all black wallpaper. This happens only on the home screen. Viewing an all black photo in gallery shows up fine which makes me know it is not screen burn, but some odd software glitch. It happened with my lock screen wallpaper as well until I had a lock screen replacement app with an option to have an all black lock screen background. Here, the gray gradient does not show up. Another indicator that this is a software glitch, not hardware problem. I cannot find a fix. #Galaxy S6
