Why is it I log in to my Google Play Music account on second device and everything Google syncs?

A

AC Question

I recently got an Google Play Music account and wanted my wife to enjoy it also. So I logged into my account through the app present on her smartphone. Then everything from my smartphone - email, contacts and calendar, you name it, synced. I found out how to de-authorise her device, although I would still like her to experience Google Play Music without the intrusion of my privacy and her annoyance.

Help!!

On your wife's phone, go to Settings > Accounts > your Google account, then tap your email address and usually there should be stuff in there to sync with checkboxes next to them. You should be able to uncheck email contacts etc from there. I think for the Google Play Music you just need the app data but I'm not entirely sure.

Hope this helps :)
