Galaxy s4 video/audio lag?

I have the galaxy s4 and ever since I updated to lollipop I've had video/audio lag. I've been told to do a factory reset and I did it. But now it's gone back to doing the same thing. What can I do?

Welcome to Android Central! Where does this occur? YouTube? Playing locally saved video files? Netflix? All of the above?

I have this same issue! Only started recently, no matter what I try to change in my settings to prevent lag, ANY video I watch online (YouTube, embedded video, Facebook, Netflix, etc.) does it. It starts, then almost immediately the picture freezes for two seconds while the audio continues, and then the video starts up again and it's out of sync for the whole video. So incredibly frustrating!

B. Diddy, yes it occurs on anything. Even when I'm scrolling through instagram and someone has posted a video, that lags.

I also changed my media player to NuPlayer, and I have tried wiping my cache. Nothing has helped.
