Why does my phone keep on turning off?

Aside from the fact that the battery drains so fast (10-30 minutes), my phone would randomly turn off (like when I am making a call, texting, click an app, browse on FB). When I turn it on, the low-battery warning would pop up. But when I charge the device, it'll automatically go to 98%. I downloaded apps to monitor the battery usage like OS Monitor and GSAM but it does not detect anything suspicious.

True signs of a bad battery. You didn't state what phone you have. Can you replace the battery?

I have an asus fonepad. I don't know if the battery can be replaced.

There are numerous Fonepad models so I don't know which you own. Here's a video on how to change the battery on one of the models. You will need to find a replacement battery and take the fonepad apart. You might want to have a repair shop do this for you if you can't handle something like this yourself.
