Techno Android Tablets

Device says "Insufficient memory" even though there is:

I'm trying to free up more space on a Techno P9 tablet to install Ccleaner.apk but despite having 737MB of space left for the 2-point-something-MB app, the device keeps saying there isn't enough space.

I used DU Speed Booster to clean out the system of trash/junk files and that didn't help. I also checked and cleaned the individual cache of all apps and that didn't help.

Is there a hidden service menu that I can call up for help the way there is the "SysDump" service menu on Samsung devices when you phone-dial *#9900# or do I need to root the Techno P9 to get the memory auditing system back to normal?

Does the device have its internal storage partitioned into an App Storage area and a separate "internal SD"? The free space you're seeing might be the internal SD, which is not where apps are installed. If the App Storage area is almost full, that might be why you can't install.
