How can i get rid of pop up ads?

These pop ops happen ALL THE TIME. It doesn't matter if I'm on an app, or not. They happen a lot more when I'm on an app, as opposed to being on a browser. If I'm on Facebook, Criminal Case or MLB.com they happen frequently. What can I do to fix this issue?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? You likely installed adware unwittingly when you installed some other app. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until it goes away, to figure out which app is the culprit.
