Will Galaxy Tab 3 have connectivity issues in Italy?

I want to use my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 while traveling in Italy and I've been told I might have issues connecting to the internet because it's a US tablet. Is this true?

Welcome to Android Central! I assume this is a 3G/4G enabled device, correct? What's the exact model number? You can search the web for its specs, and hopefully find out which network bands it supports. You can then search for which network bands the main Italian wireless carriers use, and make sure there's overlap.
