Keyboard issue with Galaxy Note Edge

I have a recent keyboard issue. Whatever messenger I use (SMS, Viber, WhatsApp, FB Messenger), the text editing field remains partially overlapped with the keyboard (I have tried Samsung and Google keyboards), which makes the cursor and any predictive text options virtually invisible and impossible to access/tap. It first started after installing the Omniswipe App: when the app was launched, the keyboard behaved just as described, getting back to normal only after deactivating Omniswipe. But now the partial overlapping remains even after I've uninstalled Omniswipe and tried to reinstall all the messengers. I've also tried to reset the Samsung keyboard but it didn't help. Would anyone have an idea how to go about this? Thanx for any kind of reply!

Hi, have you tried wiping the cache of the stock keyboard?
