Why is my lg g3 getting warm/hot very quickly

I have turned the brightness to 0% deleted bloatware and useless apps, my background screen is black and i don't use data or wifi for extended periods but my phone still seems to be using a hefty load of battery somehow someway does anyone know what might be causing this? and a solution?
