Any way to delete emails only on my Galaxy 6 and NOT on the e-mail server?

I just moved from BB 9860 to a Galaxy S6. I use a corporate e-mail server which is cloud based. I want to be able to delete e-mails ONLY on my phone and NOT on the e-mail server. Is there some way I can do that on an Android phone?

Welcome to Android Central! I think if you're using a POP3 server, there's a setting in the Email app for "Delete email on server." If you uncheck that, then I think deleting an email on the phone won't do so on the server. But I'm not sure, so you may want to test that on an unimportant email first.
