I have a Samsung Note 5 with Lollipop 5.0.1 on T-Mobile. I have Google Maps latest version 9.14.0. For about a month now or so when I am at home I can navigate and bring the maps up at home. However, when I am on the road, I turn my Wiifi off and once it connects to use data, in the middle of my commute the map lags, says various times GPS signal lost and the map ends up just freezing. I am getting very frustrated as my wife can easily navigate next to me, has T- Mobile uses Google Maps and has an iPhone 5. It does not say GPS signal lost for her. I have the GPS turned on to High accuracy as well.
The cache currently has 3.00 MB and I have not yet tried to uninstall and reinstall. Does anyone else have similar problems with their Google Maps? I have also tried Waze and it also gives me connection lost or the map freezes. I feel like I cannot navigate everywhere and an iPhone that is older than my Samsung is better. Please help!
