Why is my Samsung S6 edge battery draining so fast?

What are syncadapters. i am seeing that account for 23% or more battery usage followed by android core apps at 12%. The battery now doesnt even last for more than 4 hours.

Welcome to Android Central! They may have to do with how frequently your various apps are syncing with the web. Go through your apps and see if you can reduce the sync or data refresh frequency, or change it to manual if possible.

Any app that syncs. Look at the accounts you have, and see if they are syncing and what is syncing. Then look at apps that do sync, such as Facebook, Twitter and anything else that has sync or updating in the settings. If you are syncing things every few minutes, then it will use a lot of battery.

Also there could be a glitch if you aren't syncing much and you could try a cache wipe and see if that stops whatever is causing it.
