Black screen with white cross, no longer fast charges

[AC Question]

Recently I noticed that my phone stopped rapid charging and takes a lot longer to charge. Now the phone keeps going blank with a white cross in the corner. It used to speak and say something about Gear VR? But doing a factory reset stopped this. I thought it was all sorted, but now black screen again with white cross in corner!!

Any ideas?

Just to add, now it has started to say about Gear VR again and to remove the device from the Gear VR. I don't have Gear VR!

Did you manage to fix this is it keep happening to mine as well and is so frustrating
