    First, the app takes 5-10 seconds to launch, and second, in-app performance is crazy bad. An album needs 3 seconds to open, and when it opens it drops around 10 frames in the animation. I have the s5 so i think i have capable harware, so... What's going on here?

    Welcome to Android Central! I noticed from your other post that you tried to install the S6's music app on your phone: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ask...ml#post4695789. Is the Google Play Music app you're using the one that came preinstalled, or did you also try to install that as an apk?

    If it's the one that came preinstalled, are you sure it's up to date? Go to the Play Store, search for Google Play Music, and see if there's an Update button.

    Ok, and can you confirm that your Google Play Music app was preinstalled, and that you didn't manually install it?

    Then try Safe Mode: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10696. If the app works fine in Safe Mode, then some 3rd party app you installed is causing the interference. You might have to uninstal apps one until the problem goes away.

    Hi I tried safe mode and it's somewhat worked but I still wasn't satisfied. So I installed older version from apk mirror I think it was released in August or something like that and the lag problem stopped. Thank you!
