I started receiving only links in my email a few days ago and I have no idea why? Is there a way to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! More details would be helpful. Which phone, which email app, and which email provider? Do you mean all emails from your contacts are just a bunch of weblinks? Could it be that they're all spam emails from a contact whose email was hacked?

Droid X, the one that came with the phone, MSN, I mean all emails not just contacts. No not spam.

Please describe in more detail. Are you just getting a number of emails that contain weblinks? That usually means that either your account or someone else's email account was hacked, and is being used to send out a whole bunch of spam emails. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINKS. If the emails are all coming from contacts in your contact list, then consider changing your email account's password now. If it was one of your friends who got hacked, there's not much for you to do besides delete all of those spam emails.

All emails I am receiving on my droid x phone (contacts and others) are coming with web links to everything that is not plain text. The same email on my laptop is fine.

Ok, now I think I understand. So instead of seeing images, you see links? Open the Email app, tap Menu>Settings, and look for an option to show images.

I had tried that - there is no such setting under the settings for the email.

Open the Email app, tap Menu>Settings, and tell us what options you have. You can post a screenshot if that's easier: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...d-central.html. Make sure to scroll down to see all of the settings.

If you don't see an option in that first menu, then select your email account within that first menu, and see what options are displayed there. Still nothing?
