Why am i not getting lte on straighttalk?

I am using a Samsung galaxy s4 from straighttalk but I'm not getting lte coverage when I know I should be able to. I know that lte is in my area because other people I know are getting it with different carriers. Is there any way to get it?

Incorrect SIM card?
Phone is incompatible with the LTE network?
