Hello!
I recently moved from a BlackBerry Z10 to a Motorola Moto Maxx, the Latin America (I'm Brazilian) version of the Droid Turbo. I'm enjoying this phone a lot, it is really snappy and a lot of things here are so useful, I'm having a great a great time with it, but I'm still a rookie and I can't understand a few things... Such as the battery graphic, there are these stripes underneath it and sometimes they show in green, yellow or red and other times they don't even show. How do they affect my phone? What do they mean? I'm also wondering why my battery doesn't last as much as Motorola says it'd last, I spend a lot of time in class studying so I don't really use my phone a lot... I have 4G network and listen to music a lot and I get no longer than 12h and a few minutes. What am I doing wrong? I'm running Android Lollipop 5.0.2...

Welcome to Android Central, and I'm glad you're enjoying your new Moto phone! The green, yellow, and red signify your cell signal strength. Green is good, yellow is mediocre, and red is poor. The worse the signal, the more battery is used in order to try to maintain the reception. There seems to be a fair amount of red in that bar, so that's probably a big reason why your battery doesn't last as long as expected.
