Hi folks. At the time of typing this, I don't yet have my Zenfone 2, but I was wondering, if I only use one of my 2 SIM card slots,. (the 2G SIM slot), will this mean that any apps running in the background that TRY to use any data, (and thus my precious PAYG credit), can't use as much data bandwidth as if I used the other SIM card slot which uses 3G and 4G?
I want to do as much as I can to help aid the restriction of apps clandestinely using any of my data/PAYG credit, (I'm probably THE most conservative of credit users. I'll barely spend £40 a whole year, on calls/texts etc - and want to keep it that way).
I know there are other things/settings that can be done/changed to restrict/prevent data usage, but I was wondering if using ONLY the 2G SIM card slot would be of extra help to the other methods.
