Why are Note 5 S-Pen replacement unavailable?

I recently lost my Galaxy NOTE 5 S-Pen and have not been able to find a replacement anywhere. 1-800-Samsung says they are not available until October of November!!!?? Samsung studio store in NYC does not have them at all. How can Samsung possibly not have replacements for the easiest thing to lose on the Note 5?
