OK Google, Contact List, and Maps

Is OK Google integrated with the contact list of the phone so that if I ask something like "directions to John Doe" a route to John's address is produced? Currently, I'm only receiving receiving Internet search results for people named John Doe. Asking for "directions home" works, but that could be because the address is stored in Maps while other addresses for personal contacts are in my Contact List. That being said, OK Google will search contact list when I say something like "CALL John Doe". I appreciate any information you all might provide. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums!

You need to opt in for it to read contacts from the device. Open the Google App and go into Google Now. Within there are the settings to allow it to see contacts.

Be sure you have addresses assigned to contacts.

Yeah I've done that and still only get search results page.
