why my moto x play is only at 0%?

my ph got 0% and then i kept charging for 8 hours. n still its showing zero percent.wat should i do

Hi, you have a couple of options - make sure the charger isn't the problem (damaged) i.e. does the charger work on another phone? you could also get in touch with Moto as you might have a defected phone.
