I love "Ok Google Now" on my Moto X, a must have for me. I heard other android phones can be woken up via touchless controls also.

Hi - if you into your app drawer and head to the following:

1) Google Settings app
2) down the bottom select "Search & Now"
3) select "Voice"
4) select "OK Google" detection

From here you can activate the "From any screen" this would be as close to the Moto X as you could get
