Does anyone use or recommend using a cache cleaner App on their Samsung S6?

Does anyone use an App to delete the junk and unused cache from their phone? I have seen Apps such as CCleaner, Clean Master, DU Speed Booster, etc. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 with 32gb.

Are the Apps really effective and helpful?

Is there any risk the App will delete something needed causing other problems?

What App do you recommend?

Most of those apps are, at best, unnecessary and they come with some features that will make your phone run slower and use more resources. Take a look at this guide to read about cache and different ways to clear it.
