Nextbook Ares 8 blank/black screen issue

[AC Question]

I will try my best to keep this as brief as I can. I have 2 Nextbook Ares 8 tablets. One was dropped and the screen was cracked. The other one's charger port was flimsy and wouldn't hold a charge so I swapped the dropped tablet's circuit board (with the charger port) to it so I could charge it again. I turn it on and the backlight turns on but the screen is black /blank. I know it works because I can hear the sound playing in the background. I don't understand why it's happening as it was fine before. The 2 tablets are the exact same model and even when I swap everything back to how it was before, the screen is still blank. I'm at a loss. Please, any suggestions?
