phone doesn't wanna come on, but green light is on

Woke up this morning. Try ed to check my time on my phone and its completely off, but the light is on. Tried to take Sim card out that didn't fix problem what should should I do?

Was the phone plugged in and the light showed a full charge? Are you sure it's not on? If you press and then press and hold the power key see if the phone vibrates. The first press is to wake it up the second hold is to power it down like you would a frozen PC. Then press and hold again to see if it powers on. It may not vibrate if you turn it off that way but it would if you were turning it on. You're screen may have gone out or you may have lost your backlight. It would likely only be the LED portion so you might find that touching the screen would cause things to happen. You could also plug in to your PC and see if it's recognized. The PC won't recognize a powered off device. Should recognize a device even if it's locked.
