I am an avid user of Textra, and I really cannot stand the default messaging app in Android. I have an HTC One M8 running the latest release of Android 5.0 on Verizon. I have been having issues with MMS, specifically group and picture messages don't arrive and I can't send any. I've been getting a Textra notification saying they couldn't download MMS. When I open up the default messaging app some of the MMS messages come through individually, even if they are part of a group chat.
I have had this issue in the past. To fix it I did a factory reset (which also took care of some pretty significant lag issues) and uninstalled Opera Max. I am inclined to think it was Opera Max causing the problem, because the issue ceased immediately after that was gone. Regardless, it started up again today with no provocation and I would really rather not factory reset my phone again. Any help?
