Lg gps goofy

My GPS in Waze maps 70% of the time has me in weird places slightly off from actual location. Sometimes it correct itself and works normally and then all the sudden I jump into some neighborhood somewhere and I stay there for a while even though my car is moving down the highway. I can't say it's Google Maps because it goes nuts on both services. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums. It might be a bad GPS radio. Aside form that, i am not sure what to suggest.
